A Florida native and Jacksonville resident since 2000, Mark earned a degree in Insurance from the University of Florida in 1986, and has been a licensed insurance adjuster since 1987. Mark spent 17 years traveling the country both physically and virtually, and handled or supervised the handling of millions of claims before changing roles in 2004 to handle claims only for policyholders in need of a proper settlement. Since 2004, Mark has owned Gold Star Adjusters, where his team of licensed adjusters help policyholders recover from disaster by ensuring they get the policy benefits and settlement money they are entitled to. They process and negotiate property claims on behalf of policyholders, recovering millions of dollars each year for insurance consumers that might otherwise never get paid.
Mark has written 2 books on his experience in the insurance claims industry, and in 2019 created the 501(c)3 non-profit “Veterans Claim Victory” to help military veterans and first responders transition to the civilian workforce.
